Introducing my characters

I'm sure I will be posting quite a bit about my dvd here, so I think it's time to introduce my animation characters.
Each 3D character was altered from its default state. Each went through Silo to make it just so, then exported back to Poser as a morph of the original character. Each also received new or modified textures to go along with its new persona. It took quite a bit of time to work out all the problems that developed. It would take a very long time to describe every aspect of the entire process. But I want to discuss it with you, so this will provide enough info to spark specific questions. Behind the cut, you can see the original models, just as they look when first loaded into the scene, side by side with the final characters.
This is Raven. She is the expert who demonstrates most of the skills. I wanted her to be beautiful, slightly ethnic, possibly American Indian, and very focused, like a martial arts instructor. In this case, the default is Sydney, a character included with Poser 7. Raven was substantially modified, but the changes might appear subtle.

This is Elsa, the artists' model. She is based on a lovely ballerina I enjoy watching at our local ballet. I did not completely match the ballerina. Actually, I have a morph that does match her, but this version works better for the model. I wanted her to be lovely, elegant and sometimes aloof. In this case, the default is Sydney, a character included with Poser 7.

This is Eddie, the sleepy freshman. Eddie does want to learn, but she badly needs to work on personal discipline. Her posture is floppy and she demonstrates mistakes students can make under the watchful eye of Raven. In this case, the default is Miki 2, a character created by the company that sells Poser 7.

This is the assistant to the instructor. I don't have a name for him yet. He is a mature, well trained graduate who has full command of the skills. He sometimes pairs with Raven to demonstrate, or demonstrates on his own for variety. In this case, the default is Apollo Maximus, a free character developed by Anton Kiesel.

This is the senior student. I don't have a name for him yet, either. The senior student is presented as an intermediate learner. He is serious and focused, but sometimes makes inadvertent errors. He reminds me of the many excellent students I've worked with in the Bay Area. In this case, the default is Apollo Maximus, a free character developed by Anton Kiesel.
